| I ordered this helmet pretty much sight unseen from Helmet Harbor. I was asleep recovering from a night shift when "Kyle with a smile" returned my voice mail. From my stupor, I told him I needed a rated helmet in two days that would fit my unbelievably gargantuan and long peanut shaped head. He recommended this model, the KBC VR-1 at around $200 saying that anything else that would give me a comfortable fit would be a much more expensive.
So at first I picked red, to match my car. But a plain red helmet sounded like it belonged on a fireman or anti-terrorist SWAT team member. I'm too old for that graphics sh*t everyone is putting on their helmets these days. When I asked him what was new he said "black chrome." I ordered it with a mirrored visor for the full effect, but it came with a plain one. 
But DAMN, that ain't no BLACK chrome, it's just CHROME. LOL. Oh well, too late now. Holy sh*t, I can't believe I'm gonna wear that thang. Maybe it's a good match for my bullet holes on the side of my car, lol.
The funny, sad, weird or cool thing is, it is twice as shiny in person as it is in the pictures. Damn!
